And here's another link, to McCullin's ...

"Looking for England" feature from the BBC, via one of my fav websites, Leicaphilia
I've always liked McCullin, both the man and his pictures, also thoroughly enjoyed his autobiography, Unreasonable Behavior. This BBC feature isn't without its faults, with some of the discussions with people apparently met on the streets a little contrived, even cringe-inducing at times - but an altogether enjoyable, thought-provoking film from an inspiring man, beyond the great photographer hardly in need of an introduction.
I especially liked it for its introduction to this body of his work I didn't know about - a photographic exploration of England today - and a number of fantastic pictures providing a modern-day counterpoint to work by Tony Ray-Jones or Martin Parr.
