and more, from Nikita Teryoshin
I'd been waiting a long time, with baited breath, for Season 2 of Wrong Side of the Lens on YouTube - and here it is finally with a feature on Nikita Teryoshin, specifically his project Nothing Personal - the Back Office of War . Whilst the Wrong Side of the Lens is quite disapointing I thought, this doesn't diminish in any way that project by Teryoshin, of which more here on his own website, and here with Samual Streetlife, another YouTube regular.

potd, and a bunch of other stuff !
Just Love the Guardian's photo section which always features great stuff - here are my favourites since the last time I posted or thereabouts: Africa photo fair 2025 - and here's their actual website. Like to think I'm fairly up to speed on what goes on in the world photographically but I'd never heard of this fait, apparently in its 4th edition now, in Ivory Coast. Anastasia Samoylova is a photographer I like and have a couple of books from - here's a feature on a new pro

bis - and check out Jonathan Alpeyrie
... on this cool little video - and while you're at it, also National Geographic's 2025 pictures of the year

day's second pic, with a couple of links thrown in
Just bought this book, a reissue of Curran Hatleberg's Lost Coast , then saw this feature in the Guardian - and this immediately next one, by coincidence, on another book I'd been browsing for a while ! Still from the Guardian, Don McCullin at 90 .

last mini-gallery - my site at the end of the day
I have an enduring fascination for Masahisa Fukase - here are three separate vids on him from 3 YouTube channels I follow: Developing Tank , Tatiana Hopper and Graeme Williams .

no relation to the other pics just posted, but I just thought of this one and like it
also, make sure you check out these interviews of Ed Templeton (he of Wires Crossed ), and of Mike Brodie ( A period of Juvenile Prosperity , etc.)

Woz in Rome
... for a whirlwind weekend. great, but I may have enjoyed it even more had it not been a return to something of ann old haunt, free of memories sweetened and polished by time. crowds in the Centro Storico (to which I appreciate I was ontributing yet another unit) rather did me in. had to go to the Porta Portese Sunday market, not least on account of Paulie b's Walkie Tlkie with Stefano Mirabella .
