airports - colours & lines

Bristol airport earlier today - but could've really been any airport. Always fascinated with those lines and colours - and peeved at this blog editor's spell-checker which would have me write "colors" rather than "colours".

Especially galling after just coming back from Wiltshire and a friend's wedding which was a concentrate of pure Englishness - beautiful C of E service at a church attached to the Duke of Beaufort's estate, followed by a reception at Manor House, which you really have to see to believe. The picture-postcard English equivalent of, say, Lauterbrunnen, or Mürren in Switzerland.
