Sunny Sion

Spent the WE in Sion, Switzerland.

Jet-setters will know it as the place they land their private jets in winter for a weekend's skiing.

Come the summer, it's usually the place in Switzerland that registers the hottest temperatures - and this weekend was no exeption.

It's a beautiful area of my beautiful country, and each time I'm there I figure I could move to Sion or any one of the surrounding villlages in a heartbeat: great scenery, outdoors lifestyle, not too much of the crap that bugs your mind and your time living in larger cities ...

but the sun was weighing down on us like a ton of bricks, and were it not for my daughter's (on the right) cast on a freshly broken arm, a dip in a lake or a walk higher up in the mountain would have been well in order !
