My first picture post !

Shouldn't be anything out of the ordinary since this is after all a photography site !

Was taking a stroll by the lake this Sunday afternoon, stunning weather, beautiful light, and here's one of the few shots I took. Was struck, as often, how DSLR's seem standard issue for all those, no doubt including a number of tourists, who walk by the lake, or indeed in Geneva's old city. Started me musing about the fate of these countless photographs, and about what a great, albeit herculean, project it might be to trawl through this vast production, and compile and exhibit a selection of the most striking, moving and original.
