God I can't stand Ansel Adams

... as I'm reminded by this feature in the Guardian. Supremely overrated, dull as dishwater. Course there are a few lovely, redeeming pictures, but the same can be said of anyone who ever took photos.

This feature on the other hand, Willy Spiller's photos on the NY underground in the 70's, is rather cool. And this is his own website.

Also discovered Paulie B's YouTube channel, where I particularly like his "a day with ..." series, where he walks around NY with various street photographers.
